One Mural At A Time
Murals For A Cause is a nonprofit initiative founded by two creative leaders, Jeremy Flores and Jeremy Wells, who have joined forces to bring vibrant, inspiring murals to underserved communities, starting with Corpus Christi, Texas.
Flores, a renowned mural artist, and Wells, a successful entrepreneur, first collaborated in 2016 on the award winning Munchies Bus Project. Since then, their shared passion for art, community, and culture has fueled numerous projects that have significantly enriched Corpus Christi’s creative scene and revitalized its neighborhoods.
Their next journey began with transformative initiatives like the Art on Ayers Mural Event, which breathed new life into the West Side of Corpus Christi, revitalizing an underdeveloped part of the city through the power of art. They also played a key role in building The Exchange, a local restaurant and live music venue that has become a cornerstone of Corpus Christi’s downtown revitalization and a hub for the city’s music scene.
Further expanding their vision, they launched Cre8tive Culture, a company that partners with city entities and businesses to implement large-scale mural installations, mural festivals, and art events. This includes their collaboration with the Downtown Management District of Corpus Christi to establish the Downtown Mural Fest, which has become a vibrant celebration of public art and community engagement.
Now, with Murals For A Cause, they aim to take this vision to the next level. Their mission is to unite corporations, local businesses, and community members to create stunning, large-scale murals in neighborhoods that need them most. Each mural is more than art—it’s a symbol of hope, pride, and inspiration.
By partnering with corporate sponsors and leveraging a Kickstarter-like fundraising model, Murals For A Cause invites everyone to participate in these impactful projects, helping to transform public spaces while fostering creativity and bringing communities closer together.
While their goal is to take this movement globally, their journey starts at home—by beautifying Corpus Christi. Through art, they aspire to spark positive change, inspire creativity, and strengthen the bonds within communities.
